The 1st Vintage Kart Reunion was held May 4, 2001. It’s time to do it again.
One time, and one time only!
The UVKA rises from the ashes and we’re reaching back into the past and having a party to commemorate the 20th anniversary (plus one!) of the first vintage kart meet in California, at the place where it all started here – Prairie City Kart Track.
Open track time on Friday with a meet and greet with light refreshments and historical displays at the track in the evening.
On Saturday, there will be a dedicated kart show with the karts in a dedicated show area on display the whole day (unless you’re running your kart during the day, then you can clean it up and push it over for judging) so bring your really nice stuff out so we can all appreciate it!
There will also be a kart/mini bike swap meet, BBQ lunch, as well 5-lap fun heats throughout the day addition to open track time between the fun heats. Will also have displays of kart racing history and memorabilia, and plenty of bench racing.
If you no longer drive, please bring your kart to show. If you don’t have your karts anymore, it doesn’t matter – bring your scrapbooks, photos, old memorabilia, stories, and most importantly, yourself.
You made a difference and helped get this hobby off the ground. It’s time to catch up with old friends and meet new ones and celebrate this great hobby and all the friendships forged through it throughout the years. The aim is 100% fun.
Mark your calendars! May 7 & 8, 2021, Prairie City Kart Track. Rancho Cordova, CA.
